Crimson Sword Aston Shell Theme 1.0

By: Kevin Kunish (aka Biden)

ICONS:

Some icons on the toolbars may not appear! This is simply because you may not have the program listed or it may be in a different directory than what is specified. This is easily changed by right-clicking the program shortcut(s) and clicking on settings. From here, the paths and icons used may be changed.

PLUGINS:

If, for any reason, one of my plugins is not visible, right-click on the desktop and click settings. This opens Aston Master. From here, you click on "plugins" and look over the list of plugins in there. If some of my plugins are not in that list, then click on "Add" and search in my theme's folder in the subfolder "plugins". This folder has the Astamp plugin in it, the rest of the plugins are in the main Aston folder in the subfolder "plugins". Here is a list of the plugins that are meant to be included with my theme:

*MenuEx.plg - Main menu with skins
*SkinClckEx.plg - Taskbar clock
*Toppanel.plg - Aston Top Panel
*Astamp.plg - Astamp 1.0

*Qlaunch.plg - This is not activated by default, but it is skinned and ready to use if desired. It is the Quick launch panel.

ASTAMP:

After these plugins are activated, they should take on the proper skins that I have set for my theme. The only one I believe may not come with my specified skin is Astamp. To set my Astamp skin, right click on the main display window of Astamp from the desktop. Click on "change skin". From here, select "new skin" and type "Crimson Astamp" (without the quotes of course). If you wish to use the default Astamp skin, then go through the same process, but type "Insignia Astamp" instead.

SIDEMENUS:

My sidemenus are originally supposed to contain my system graphics for the folders and my modified icons for a few select other icons. I have enclosed a screen shot of what my theme is meant to look like if anyone has the desire to mock it. This screenshot is in my theme's main folder under the name "Crimson Sword Theme.png".

When choosing icons for my sidepanels, if they appear too large, simply open the settings by right-clicking the icon and click the up arrow to change to a number 1 icon. It will make sense (hopefully) once you get the hang of Aston or have any experience with it.

FUTURE RELEASES:

I will eventually make this theme optimized for other resolutions than 1280x1024 and 1024x768.

Other changes are also likely to occur.
